Lula Isabelle
May 27, 2013For a while I've been eyeing baby cacti at my friend's house. They're such a cute touch to have, just sitting on the windowsill soaking up some sun. I'm not the best plant-mother, and I lack a bit of a green thumb. (In other words, my plants die.) I decided on a baby cactus to keep, since it doesn't need a lot of water and it's a cute touch.
So today, I ventured out of the house (I had just gotten my wisdom teeth out) and decided to buy a cactus.
I named her Lula Isabelle.
She's the cutest little thing, and the tag said that she will sprout little orange flowers on her buds, which will be a nice touch for the summer. She'll love the 4 days of nice weather we have here! It's kind of an inspiration to have her, just sitting on my desk. It's a cute little plant that always seems happy & lifts my spirits. I'm becoming a plant lady, now!

Your blog looks beautiful - simple and clean so the photos take centre stage. I hope it'll be a lasting home for your memories and also a place to document your progress as a photographer.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love succulents too. Hard to kill.
Thank you for commenting on my blog! Succulents are the best as they don't take up much room and are a nice touch.
