music
July 27, 2011my fingers brush along the pale ivory keys of our piano. the black dots on the sheets of parchment come alive, their sweet melody rising into the air and filling the room with joy.
i skim along the keys, swaying to the beat as i play. the music takes me back to the nineteen eighties, a time where pop and retro music ruled the air.
music is my passion. my love. eighth notes come to life with a tap of my fingers, a push of a key. music is part of my soul, a part of my life.
i love music. i love the feel of my fingers on the cold, ivory keys, my ears filled to the brim with the melody of love, of jazz, of classical or pop.

a few times i've wondered, "should i keep on with piano?" and i'm glad that i have kept on with it, learning new songs every week and getting so good that i learn my christmas song in august. i'm so glad i have piano. and music.

what's your favorite type of music?
