I would not know what to do without my friends, for even one day. they are always there for me and never let me down. they encourage me to do things that I wouldn't usually do, but bring out the best in me. my heart soars every day when I see my friends, their beautiful faces and their lovely smiles.

and friends do help people up, and what this bible verse (hence my favorite book) is meaning to say is that you should always have a good friend to help you in the good or bad times, whether a sister or a brother, a friend at school, a parent, or God. friends are the best things that you can have in hard times.


this quote makes me laugh. yes, and right now my friends are reading this and thinking, "yeah, i made a biiiiiiiig decision when I chose to be friends with Kelsey..." And, yes, they did. But the other side to this quote is that once you have a friend, you tell them everything. you can't help it, right? so the right friends are the best kind (yeah, yeah, duh)

this is the truest thing I have heard all day. sometimes, all your friends walk out on you because they join the popular crowd, don't think you're cool anymore, or just don't want to be seen with you. all of these hurt. REAL friends don't do that. they step in and say, "hey, wanna be friends?" (oh, the joys of kindergarten language) or more maturely, "hey, you wanna hang out?" and true story this happened to me one time. I was having a rough day at school with some friend (girl drama) issues, and I just felt so down and so left out. so a girl who I didn't usually hang out with came up and said, "do you want to go inside?" and that just made my day. now, we are best friends and she is one of the most loyal friends i have ever had. (awwwwwww)


yes, yes, Isabelle Norton said it well. do you ever notice that when you are with your friends, you are a totally different you? that's because you can be yourself around them. that's all I have to say.

    i love it! i've been having some friend trouble, and it's starting to get better, but i've known this girl for over 6 years now, and we're not very good friends anymore. since she's moved, and we've both grown up, we're almost always fighting, and then we don't talk for weeks (sometimes months) at a time.

    I've found a new friend, and we're best friends, and we're always teasing her older sister, and i am really good friends with her older sister too.

    i hope we're still bff's in years to come!
